# Get firmware successfully querying subnet DAO

The router needs to call the function described [here](https://forum.althea.net/t/create-function-call-on-subnet-dao-app-to-allow-routers-to-query-neighbors-subnet-status/116/2) when trying to open the tunnels etc. And not allow other routers to connect if not on the same subnet etc.
